The Jackson County Recorder of Deeds Department is in the process of replacing 18 year-old software to upgrade its recording for the public and business community and Anissia Manuleleua is a big part of that.
Anissia has led a workgroup for the past six months consisting of software representatives, internal/external users and Department Associates in the development of state-of-the-art software features. The software will improve the recording and processing of more than 100,000 land-related instruments, issuance of marriage licenses to more than 12,000 applicants and the annual, timely processing of thousands of copy desk inquires.
Recorder of Deeds Director Bob Kelly said, “Based on Anissia’s keen understanding of internal and external user needs, a positive can-do attitude and strong product development skills, the Department’s point-of-sale and web-based recording services will be significantly improved for customers purchasing a home, taking out a mortgage loan, applying to get married or seeking certified copies of recorded documents.”
Anissia is the Operations Coordinator for the Recorder of Deeds Department. She coordinates recording processes and procedures for both Kansas City and Independence recording offices. She also implements new programs to enhance customer services and provides back-up supervisory staffing support as needed.
“Anissia’s outstanding efforts this year to improve both front-counter and web-based services for the public, business community and other internal and external departments is truly commendable. She continues to be an important asset to Jackson County Government, an associate who truly exemplifies the best in public service,” Kelly said.
