Sheriff's Office Easter Egg Hunt

MONDAY, APRIL 22, 2019

Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Forté and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office hosted an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20th. Families filled Kansas City Park’s Grove Park to enjoy the event which featured ice cream, bounce houses, CoCo from CoCo Keys Water Resort, photos with Deputy Bunny and of course the Easter egg hunt.

To kick off the event Smith Hale Linc Mighty Wild Eagle Drum line and team performed. Sheriff Darryl Forté and County Executive Frank White, Jr. welcomed everyone and started the count down for the Easter Egg Hunt. It took less than 10 minutes for a swarm of excited children to snatch up the 40,000 candy filled plastic eggs.

The event allowed Deputies a chance to interact with the community. The Sheriff’s Office will hold meet and greets and other events throughout the year for the community. Follow the Sheriff’s Office on Facebook @jacksoncountymosheriff to see when events are happening.
