Curtis A. Johnson, 47, of Kansas City, was sentenced today to 12 years in prison for sexual assaults of a 6-year-old girl, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced.
Johnson pleaded guilty to two counts of Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree. He was sentenced to 12 years in prison on each count and the sentences will run concurrently. Johnson was charged in August 2012 after the mother of a 6-year-old girl said the girl disclosed to her that > MOREThe Kansas City Star had nicknamed Marlyn L.
