Since Trent Hudson began working at the Jackson County Courthouse in Independence Betsy Meek has seen nothing but an outstanding job performance from him.

Meek, a Municipal Court clerk, said, “The condition and cleanliness of the building has greatly improved. You will never see a time when Mr. Hudson is not working hard with a pleasant attitude.”

Hudson has worked in Jackson County’s Facilities Division for five years and worked in the Courthouse in Kansas City before being moved to the Independence building in June.

Municipal Court Clerk Kaitlyn Armold said, “Since Trent came to the Jackson County Annex building, he has consistently blown us away with his work ethic, attention to detail and professionalism. His service has improved the overall cleanliness of the building. The offices are always sparkling and the bathrooms are always well-stocked and clean.”

“Despite living in Kansas City and taking public transit to and from work, Trent is always professional, hardworking and friendly. He performs his job quickly and efficiently, far better than those in his position previously,” Armold said.

Public Works Director Brian Gaddie commented that, “Trent Hudson is one of those individuals who comes to work every day, does what he is supposed to do and doesn’t complain about it. He puts his time in, he puts his devotion into it and I think it shows to the point where we have individuals like Betsy, who nominated Trent for this award.”

“I think that’s amazing that other departments see the reflection of your hard work and your dedication. I truly appreciate what you do. You all ways have a smile on your face and I am sure your clients appreciate the work you do,” Gaddie said.
